not this is anything important or anyone will see this but just out of curiousity why do more young people not code? because whenever im on here just scrolling around looking at other peoples websites i noticed they were mostly all adults, which is fine obviously because hobbies have no age and neocites was og made a long time so a lot of people have websites from a while ago but as someone whos in highschool its a little offputting to never see anyone my own age on here (because i think its a really cool hobby a lot of highschool and collage students would enjoy) so...not that this was really a question i just think more people should do it

another stupid thing, does anyone else just think theyre website sucks all the time, because i do 😭

so im gonna leave the main pages up for now and work on the new ones on seprate files and when theyre done im going to move the code over to the old files but im gonna keep the old code and move it to its own seperate thing so i can have an archive of all the old versions of the site because i didnt do that with the privious major updates.

list of updates to come (i dont know when im actually gonna get to these because but these are just a few of the things ive been most excited about doing) :

• on my links page i was gonna add some links to some youtube videos, i dont watch a lot of youtube videos but i listen do video essays and scary story type things all the time and its really hard to find good ones where the videos are interesting and the person is talking at a good pace and a lot of the scary stories people just get lazy and use ai to either write the stories or read them and i just wanna listen to that. so if for some reason anyone wanted recommendations for that kinda stuff i was gonna ad it
• also on the links page i was make my own button and add more sites to my button wall
• was also planning on adding some jump links for that page because i feel like its getting pretty long, especially with the videos
• gonna make a birdwatching page/journal

i was thinking about redoing the homepage to this site, theres nothing wrong with it, its just been the same way for like years because im too lazy to change it, but i think i could upgrade it a bit. i also might actually log onto spacehey and change my layout on that too because i borderline forgot about it 😭 BYE

so i updated the cd player page...cause i hated it and then tried to change things on the journal and litterly broke the entire page and had to fix it, so anyways...oopsie daisy but its fine now. im gonna change the colors on the background though because i dont really like them.

so random ai rant. is anyone else genuinely so sick of it annoyed? because obviously its AWFUL for the planet and society and that in itself makes it insufferable but it also just blatently annoys the crap out of me. cuz why am i trying to google something and it gives me the ai response first, i dont want that. and the gemini google assistant deal makes me so mad, it starts talking to me out of nowhere or randomly reading me the time(?) in the dumb robot voice. like no i dont need your assistace i bumped the button on my ear buds i dont want you. and the people who use chat gpt for everything WHY? i only ever used it once last year to see what the big deal was with it but it but it was kinda pointless in my opinion. like all it does is browse the internet? yall need library cards my lord. and if you want a fast search just use google, theres no differnce except ai is more harmful. and i know you can create images with it but you know what else can YOU. even if you cant draw, learn or use other things. if your trying to make people use picrews/other character maker games, or find a video game with good graphics and make them as a character in it. like start making your ocs as miis and sims its so fun. Anyways have a goodnight!

Okay so i started trying to replace the img bb pictures and i can already tell its gonna be soooo much work 😭
but i think this journal is mostly gonna be used for updates on the website because i lead a very uninteresting life and dont know what else to put...so there might be a few random things here and there but probably mostly related to neocites

uggggghhhh so i went on my img bb profile and deleted some of my uploads because i didnt realize it would break all my pictures i put on neocities, so now the entire sims page is broken and i deleted the screenshots off of my computer so now i have to go back into the game and retake all the pictures, upload them to img bb and then put them back on neocities oh my god 😓😭
