Last summer (june 2025) i went to see my sister, who lives in england. She lives in lakenheath, the military base.
This trip was my first ever time on a plane, let alone going to another country.
This page was made in febuary 2026 so obviously quite a while from when i went. Thats because the majority of the trip actually sucked but i did overall enjoy it. What went wrong with the trip was we had several cars that didnt work and both died several times on the road. We werent able to do much, so we were just stuck on the military base. The only working car we had was my brother in laws but it didnt fit all of us. My dad was also a jerk as to be expected and was picking fights with everyone.
but, like i said, i did have a pretty good time, i didnt really mind just listening my music in the car the whole time, i got to see the ocean for the first time, we explored what was close.
I found it very pretty and would love to go back but im not sure if thats going to be possible.

first, the birding in england was great. I saw tons of pigeons, crows, ravens, and magpies on base and lots of herring gulls and franklins gulls on the coast. as well as seeing mallards, trumpeter swans, blue winged teals, and snow geese in the ponds. I saw morning doves, ring necked doves, starlings, blackbirds, and a goldfinch in the countryside fields.
